Medical Examination of Seafarers (Maritime inspection and /or Inland Navigation Inspection)
You can contact us for medical examination of seafarers (Maritime Inspection and /or Inland Navigation Inspection). You will be examined for any health risks and physical abnormalities.
A total physical examination is performed according to the ILT guidelines (inspection of human environment and transport; based on guidelines from the ministry of infrastructure and water management). The ILT guidelines include total body examination, measuring blood pressure, height and weight. In addition your ears will be examined using audiogram and your eyes will be fully checked (eyesight and vision including color vision). Your urine will be also examined.
When you are approved after the medical examination, you will, immediately receive the Seafarer Medical Certificate. The result is also immediately mail to ILT (Inspection of Human Environment and Transport).
Requirements for medical seafarers examination are:
- Identity card / Driver license / Sailor’s booklet
- Monster booklet
- Completed inspection form
- Any recent or current medication list
- Glasses or lenses
- Urine in clean sealable jar
- Cost are 182 euros (we prefer cash payment please)
